Paintball vouchers offered to charity auctions
A paintball gift voucher designed specifically for charity fundraising auctions has been launched by Nationwide Paintball.
The vouchers, worth £525, are being given away for free to charities and enable up to 35 people to embark on a day of paintballing at any of the 100 paintball sites operated by the company.
Clubsforyoungpeople recently auctioned off one of the vouchers at an event raising £7,000. Mencap and The Prince’s Trust have also taken up the paintball offer for their auctions.
Managing director of Paintball Nationwide, Roman Rock (pictured), said that the company had been repeatedly asked in the past to donate gift vouchers for charities and had obliged, prompting them to look for more permanent ways of supporting charity.
“It has been the popularity of these gift vouchers – which have been known to sell at a multiple of their face value at auction – that has prompted us to formalise this mechanism and make it more widely available for use throughout the UK’s voluntary sector,” he said.
Charities wishing to access the free vouchers should visit the Nationwide Paintball website for more information.
